Excursion to some freeway

during my free time several days ago, im going for an excursion with some of my friends. We went into KM 148 (CMIIW, i forget the exact kilometre) of Pasteur-Cileunyi freeway. Well, initially we want to take some pictures of paddy field during sunrise but what we’ve got there? .. hmm.. the paddy field wasn’t fully developed yet so we only see some swampy areas around and what made things worse is the cloud was blocking the sun therefore we couldn’t get the tone that we want, so.. we thought for a while and we decided to improvise.
My car was parked beside the freeway and the freeway was sometimes crowded with swarm of trucks and buses, so we set our tripods and start taking pictures of trailblazer. You can see one of the result below.

Well, actually one of my friends manage to get an even better picture, i will tell him to upload it later.
While we busy taking pictures of trailblazer in different angle and position, we hear some familiar sound, so we look everywhere to find where’s the sounds coming from and we see it from afar, it’s a Train !.
We see a railway under a bridge about 800 metres away, but to get there we must go through some bushes and a small river… hm… we don’t really care about that and decided to go. After some walk and worrying about leeches and mud snakes that might show up under the bushes (the three of us only use sandal) we eventually arrive under the bridge. Well actually we’re quite disappointed because the structure is very dirty, there’s garbage and graffiti everywhere (I wonder why so many teenagers in Indonesia spent their money for an expensive air brush just to ruin public facility). We wait for a long time while preparing and looking for some nice angle if the train does come.
And the train does come and caught us unprepared. The train was soo damn fast that we failed to take a good picture of it. I failed to reach my intended shooting location and my friend failed to prepare his equipment, we’re very disappointed and I take a final picture (you can see it above). We decided to go back to Bandung and plan to return here sometimes later.
